This summer I am interning at Maison Il Conservatorio- a boutique hotel in downtown Sorrento located on Via S. Francesco. This quaint hotel consists of 14 rooms, a terrace, reception office and kitchen. A fresh breakfast is prepared and served every morning for the guests. Since the hotel is so small, the staff is small as well. 

I report to the hotel owner and his wife, my supervisor, and one immediate coworker. In total there are just five of us that deal with the daily operations, and guest relations.

I work with my supervisor Ivan everyday, as he works in reception, public relations, marketing and more.

My role and responsibilities as an intern include but are not limited to:​

• Managing the social media for the  hotel, taking photos, videos and highlighting services

• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the back office including managing reservations and questions

• Working with the guests and clients, and performing marketing research
